Secondly, Agger came through the reserve game earlier this week with no apparent recurrence of his metatarsal injury, so lets hope he gets his fitness level up fast! Because we need him up and running as quickly as possible.

A reason not to be cheerful, that ignoramus Hick's is trying to raise the funds himself to buy out his former 'Buddie' Gillett. If this nightmare scenario comes to fruition, GOD HELP US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Something To Smile About!

Liverpool (res) 2-0 Mancs (res), Agger and Skrel play 45 minutes each half apiece, Alonso and Kewell both scored and play the full 90 minutes, plus Alonso received the 'Man Of The Match' award! Also G. Neville got his customary welcome and interactive social intercourse going with the LFC faithful as usual! As to Agger's very welcomed return, please let him get fit ASAP! We so badly need him at moment!!
It also seems the manager of the Sandon pub as invited Tom Hicks (not sure if its Sr. , Jr. or both) to meet Liverpool supporters representatives in a closed and safe environment! Well somehow I don't think they will take up the offer do you? But there again I would not put anything past Hicks Inc., so far no word from the Hicks camp, we will wait and see then! Tom Hicks Jr shows up at the game against Boro on Saturday and then had the audacity to turn up at the 'Sandon' public house! And surprise surprise is given rapturous welcome by all and sundry NOT!!! It beggar's belief that this individual (Plus Bodyguards) actually showed his face in Liverpool at all! The only thing I can think of is its another publicity stunt by Hicks Inc. , this for me just shows how much utter contempt they hold us in! Dear God man if he only got away with a beer been chucked over him and someone else spitting in his direction, then he can count his lucky stars (and stripes) that's all he got! I'm sure if he had hung around a little bit longer he and his "Friends" would be pressing charges by now, and that's a 4 for sure! Go away and don't come back, your not welcome here anymore! There's a song in there some where, I know It!!! Plus there is more to this 'performance' than meets the eye, and that is guaranteed! The message of Attack! Attack! Attack! Needs to be drummed into the players of the LFC squad right Now!! We have three BPL games, Bolton (A),West Ham (H) "Catch up game"! And Newcastle (H) to play before Inter Milan 'Welcome' us to the San Siro! And we so need to win these games it Isn't funny anymore.
Hopefully with Carragher back from suspension and Skrtel fit (Not counting my chickens about Agger returning anytime soon), the defence will close up like a ducks anus on a rainy day!

Yesterdays 3-2 win over Middlesbrough made me a very Happy Chappie indeed! But our defence was like a old sieve, with extra holes punched through it! And oh boy didn't it show? Thank the Lord for the 'El Nino' hat-trick! Plus the Bargie Argie's performance, we so need to tie up the loose ends concerning this boys contract and FAST! Before some one else does.
Strange substitutions, but hay that is DMW for you! No way can you second guess his decisions! As to Lucas's contributions, I personally thought he had a bad day, especially in the second half, which is a shame as I have a lot of time for the lad! The potential success of his future at LFC is outstanding and that's for sure! On to Babel's input, impressive ! Boro On The Morrow!

Just watched the re-run of the match against Middlesbrough tonight, and what a dreadful performance It was! Apart from Torres goal, please let it be a better showing tomorrow afternoon at Anfield! I'll be out for the game that's for sure, also it looks like the boys from SoS will be making our views know after the game again with another stay behind protest, especially as one of Hicks sons is supposedly turning up! Tell them like It Is, and good on ya!!! My dosh will be in the post by the end of the month for my membership to Liverpool Supporters Union (Sons of Shankly).

"To Be Depressed Or Not Depressed That Is The Predicament"

Depression is no good for the soul, and after yesterdays comedy of errors! This cat ain't happy by a long shot, but fair play to Barnsley FC for living there cup dream! I personally wish them every success and luck, in the rest of there endeavors as far as this competition (FA Cup) goes, they will need It!! My mind is in turmoil at some of the substitutions and decisions made during this game, I can only hope that come next Tuesday night the real Liverpool Football Club walks out on to the pitch at Anfield! And performs like the club we love and know, but I'm not holding my breath, that's for sure! The only two good things to come out of this shambles were (1) Kuyt scores a goal finally!!!!!!!!!! and (2) DMW did not risk playing Torres, who by the way will probably not feature in the game against Inter Milan, worse luck!

On to other news, SoS have got there web site up and running, great news! check it out boys, they need all the support we can give them! There on the Front line in the war against H&g, we of the International Kop Brigade must do our part to help in what ever way we can, i.e. petitions, boycotts of LFC products, e-mails, finance, etc etc! That is all I would have heard if I had gone out and watched the game this past Sunday! But luckily I did not, so from what I've read, and what little I have watched , this was a typical confrontational squabble between the two sides, Points shared then! BBP should have scored early on! The rest of the game then became history, which is the sorry state of affairs at LFC at moment!

The other disappointment of the weekend was not watching the Man. Utd v Man. City game, that would have brought a smile to my old face, that's for sure!

No point in crying about the 'El Nino' injury fiasco, what happened has happened!! Its now time for the underachievers in the LFC squad to step up to the plate and produce the goods, BIG time!!!! CH€L$€€ on the morrow (kick-off 16:00GMT), Avram Grant is quoted as saying he would like to see his team "Drill the final nail in Liverpool's title challenge hopes with a win!". What parallel universe does this Russian glove puppet live in? For Gods sake! Anybody with one Iota! Knows whats going on in the BPL (football wise) at the moment, they would realise Liverpool's so called "Challenge" went out the window weeks if not months ago!! I'm sorry but its true! If we get fourth place I'll be my 'own' happy cat!! Its not all doom & gloom thou, we're still in the worlds oldest Cup competition (FA) and the Champions League.
Other things: This extra game to be played aboard, someone ain't done they're home work me thinks! Especially in geography, ENGLISH Premier League (what part of England do they not get) but wait a minute, the mist is clearing! Oh yes its a bean counter thing (money, money and more money)! So they did 'do' they're maths then.

'El Nino' injured yet again on international duty! Out for up to 10-12 days. If we're lucky you punks !!! So no show for the Chelsea game on Sunday (kick-off 16:00 GMT) at the bridge, and no show for our home game against Barnsley F.C. on Saturday 16th for the FA Cup 5th round tie (kick-off 15:00 GMT). If we're really unlucky no god damn show for the Champions League Quarter Final clash against Inter Milan! (Feb.19th kick-off 19:45 GMT). So I'm not a happy chappie today as far as the injury situation concerning Fernando Torres goes!!! More to come on this, I feel it in my bones.



England WON!!!! (2-1) I was chuffed to bits by our win over Switzerland, even if it was only a "Friendly". Perhaps this will be good omen, I hope so! As I said before, we shall see won't WE!!! LFCFL-FTY-SoS Respect.See You On The Other Side!!

Tomorrow is the first game in charge for the New England manager Fabio Capello. He's even made Steven Gerrard the captain against Switzerland at Wembley for tomorrow nights game (Kick-Off 20:00 hours GMT). No surprise there then! The Italian's job is going to be an up hill struggle to say the least. Especially considering we failed so miserably in trying to qualify for Euro 2008! Well, we shall see, won't we !! There are so many of our players away on international duty (apart from Dirk Kuyt) that I'm worried and keeping my fingers and just about everything else crossed. To Share Or Not Share, That Is The Quandary!

Me I have no qualms about the Shareliverpoolfc mandate! If the logistics of this proposal can be worked out then count me in!! There are a lot of us out there (worldwide) who will dig deep into our own pockets to find the money, as individuals or as a group! I personally have never ever saved for anything in my life, but by hook or by crook I will now!!!! that's a certainty! As to the Sons Of Shanklys 30 minute demonstration after the 3-0 win over Sunderland, I say good on'em! the more H&g understand they are not welcome in the Bastion of Anfield the better, Hicks wants us to focus on the team and the new stadium and to get himself out of the blogs! Well i for one ain't going to forget him and will keep mentioning and commenting on what he does and will try next, gillett's silence on the other hand is ear drum splitting to say the least, do not get complaisant where these two are concerned!!!

About Time To!! Ör Three

Today was a good day! Forget the 1st half , but the second was so, so much better! We needed to win this game and the boys went out and did the business, Finally! I'll sleep a little bit easier tonight for the first time in months, but we must not get complaisant!! It is going to be a up hill struggle to even get 4th place this year! As for my wish list the BIG 1 is we thrash the Black Cats at Fortress Anfield and do it with some style, if I had a cat it would not be a very happy bunny at the moment with the on pitch performance or with the off pitch Shenanigans by H&g! But this supporter buy out proposal sounds brilliant! So that's my 2nd wish, if the finance can be found among me and my LFC Mates we would sign up today that's for sure, my 3rd and final wish is that they sort out the dosh to buy the bargie argie!
