Get It Done!!!

I once owned a cap with the words 'GET IT DONE' brazened across the front of it, well that is exactly what Liverpool Football Club need to do on Wednesday night, when they travel to Stamford bridge in West London! We have to go there and do something we have not done for a few years, i.e. score and win! Its not beyond the capability of this currant Liverpool side, that's for sure. Some one said to me once 'The impossible we can handle, miracles take a little longer', well the team has 90 minutes + to make this particular miracle happen, if not then extra time followed by the dreaded penalty shoot out!!!! But hay, lets think positive thoughts shall we and hope and pray that it does not go that far, I'm on tender hooks at the moment and will be until this game is over!

So off we jolly well go, to the land of the Brummies and most of my relatives! Please L.F.C. make my day by taking them apart in some style and finesse, even thou I think DMW will use a lot of our reserve and rested (rotated) players in the starting line up! Well what can one say about that very late goal? Apart from BLEEP-BLEEP-BLEEP-BLEEP-BLEEP!!!!!!!!!!! Etc. Etc. To say I'm not a happy camper is a understatement! If the ginger mingers days at L.F.C. were not already numbered, they surely are now!! Dirk Kuyt's goal just before the break was a peach of a shot, straight through Cech's legs and I almost choked on my beer because I laughed so much. We now have it all to do again next Wednesday at Stamford Bridge, and I 'do believe' we can get the desired result!

On a bitter and twisted note, the Brazilian Fabio Aurelio is out for the rest of the season with a torn abductor muscle. Bugger!

But before that, we have to travel to middle England on Saturday and take the Brummies apart! To secure our fourth place spot (Champions League football next season), regardless of what our little neighbours do!

Not For Sale & P45's In The Post!

Avram Grant is trying it on again for Chelsea by saying they still want to buy Steve Gerrard, what part of "It begins with F and ends in F" don't they get! This will be the third time we have met the boys in blue from the bridge at the semi final stage of the Champions League, lets hope history repeats itself again!! I think it will be another 'BIG' European night at the bastion that is Anfield, I can hardly wait! Definitely going out with the chaps to watch this match, that's for sure.

On to other matters, our feuding so called owners are taking there falling out to the next level, Hicks wants Rick Parry (Coco) to resign and Gillett does not, so another stand off! The TV interview Hicks gave made me want to vomit, I'm sick to my stomach of all of this terrible situation, something really has to give and soon! On the rumour mill Hicks Inc. will be turning up on Tuesday night to watch the game, if true then he and the rest of his entourage will no doubt get the reception that they holy deserve!! But I for one fear it could detract the attention away from the game, especially for the circling vultures of the media. So with my head held high and hope in my heart I will stride out and shout my head off!!!

Rogered And Almost Out!

Well its now been three wins on the trot, starting with the 'outstanding' 4-2 victory over the Arse (5-3 on agg.) at Anfield in the CL the other week! Still smiling far to much about that one, next up was Blackburn who we beat 3-1 thank god! It was not the most convincing of wins and the score line in my opinion did not truly represent the game as a whole, but hay its another three points in the bag for us!! And finally, last but not least we beat Fulham at Craven Cottage two goals to nil yesterday ! With Pennant apparently turning into the footballer I hoped he would all season, scores a great goal (17th min) and was all over them like a proverbial bad rash! Plus helps set up the second goal (Crouch 70th min) with a excellent pass, I just have to mention Mascheranos contribution, just brilliant! So to Tuesday night then and Chelsea come knocking at our door, bring it on people! I have the day off tomorrow, so more on this semi final clash and what is going on behind the scenes at L.F.C!!!!

Third Time Lucky? / No Such Luck!

This is the third time we have played the Arse this season and they have all been 1-1 draws! Unfortunately I could not watch the game due a prior engagement, I will have to wait until later in the week to see the re-run, eight changes to the squad line up for this game including Damien Plessis, brought up from the reserves for his first team debut and was outstanding by all accounts!! BB a.k.a. Peter Crouch (hanging it out a bit to long over signing his new contract if you ask me) scores the opener (42nd min) and had a very impressive first half!
But then Bendtner leaves Reina cold (yet again!!!!!!) with another header from a set piece (this record is definitely cracked), a mental note to DMW get this problem sorted out NOW!!! It is costing us big time!!!
So to Tuesday night then and the final part of the trilogy will be played out at Anfield, as an old mate of mine would say "My The Force Be With Us"!!!!!!!!!!
